Job Summary
Screen employees, contractors, visitors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with access-control procedures and site requirements. Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location. Work three days per week from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (or 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Saturday) at a Dallas, TX tech/media/telecom facility. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of security-related experience
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
