Security Officer Full Time - Property Access

Job Summary
Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns as directed by site policies. Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, the business, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control protocols. Maintain accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations to leadership and site contacts. Work a day shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Possess a valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
