Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, office areas, and property perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor alarm panels and access control systems while assisting visitors and staff with professionalism. Respond to incidents and alarms by notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations per site protocols. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents, communicating relevant information to leadership. Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Sunday at a healthcare location in Gaithersburg, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
