Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking facilities, loading zones, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation accurately. Work a full-time day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Thursdays through Sundays at a premier retail and mall location in Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
