Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas in technology, media, and telecommunications locations by conducting regular and random patrols of business areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns, communicating relevant information to site contacts and leadership. Work full-time day shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
