Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Support access control activities using computer or tablet systems as needed. This unarmed patrol role is based in Detroit, MI, with a full-time schedule running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekends and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
