Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and data center personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries. Monitor access activity and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and access-related logs. Work a rotating day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
