Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in manufacturing and industrial locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents and support employees and visitors. Respond to alarms, critical situations, and concerns by notifying site contacts or emergency services as established procedures dictate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unauthorized activity. Monitor visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity at access points, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions to leadership. Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs accurately. Work full-time overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 07:30 AM (or 09:00 AM) in Libertyville, IL, with a background investigation and drug screen required prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
