Security Officer - Full Time Nights

Monitor hospital property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by patrolling lobbies, corridors, and public areas. Examine doors, windows, and gates for security; inspect equipment and machinery for tampering or hazards. Respond to incidents, obtain assistance for accident victims, and write reports. Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at campus entrances. Clear main walks and entrances of ice and snow. Liaise with local law enforcement as needed and sound alarms for unauthorized persons. Perform engineering duties including setting thermostatic controls and tending furnaces. Complete mechanical checklists during off-shift hours.
