Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, parking zones, and perimeters in healthcare facilities to deter incidents and identify unusual conditions. Respond to critical situations calmly while following site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by executing security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain a visible, professional presence at access points and prepare accurate reports of all observations and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification
- A guard card or license
- Customer service experience
