Job Summary
Control access to the facility by verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures. Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access control systems, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Work a day shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
