Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas and conduct routine unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations by notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while observing visitor and tenant activity at access points. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to leadership. Work a rotating day shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, Monday through Sunday, at a commercial real estate location in Chicago, IL. CPR certification and access control experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred
