Job Summary
Manage visitor and employee access at a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring alarm panels. Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating critical situations to appropriate contacts. Conduct regular patrols of entrances, production areas, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while documenting daily activities and completing required reports. Work a rotating schedule including Thursday through Sunday shifts from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
