Job Summary
The Security Officer role at Northwest Sahuarita Hospital involves patrolling the facility and grounds, monitoring surveillance, and responding to security incidents to protect patients, staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities include assisting visitors, directing traffic, enforcing policies, preparing accurate incident reports, and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders. The position requires strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills, the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations, and physical ability to patrol a large facility. 0-2 years of security experience is required, with BCLS certification required and state-specific security licenses as applicable; IAHSS certification or Facility Security Officer certification is preferred.
