Job Summary
Security Officer duties include patrolling Huntington Hospital property, responding to calls, documenting activities, investigating incidents and making recommendations. Requires a CA driver’s license, Guard Card certifications, and Basic Life Support (BLS). Education must be a high school diploma or GED. Six months of security or related-experience preferred. Must complete AVADE training within the first month and annual trauma Stop the Bleed training within one month of hire. English fluency and basic computer skills (MS Office) are required. Night shift, full-time position located at Huntington Hospital, Pasadena, CA. Base pay ranges from $24.00 to $34.50 per hour, with additional compensation possible through differentials and incentives; comprehensive benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
- Six months of experience in Security or related field
- Read, write, speak English fluently
- AVADE training (8 hour) to be completed within first month
- Annual trauma Stop the Bleed training within one month of hire
- Attention to detail and reporting skills
- Proficient in MS Office and hospital-related programs
