Job Summary
Secure client premises and deter suspicious activity through regular perimeter walks and vehicle management. Report all suspicious activity immediately to the Security Corporal and provide detailed information to authorities as needed. Correct inefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards while following procedures for gates, lights, and visitor check-ins. Maintain constant radio communication with the team and utilize high attentiveness to surroundings. Engage physically to de-escalate threats or respond to security incidents, ensuring no use of force is applied. Work full-time or part-time shifts with minimal 8-hour rotations, including weekends, across indoor and outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to other related software
- Judgement and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle; Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehicles as needed
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work 2 weekends per month
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to make any/all continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions, relevant to position
Desired Qualifications
- Law enforcement, public safety, or military experience, preferred
