Job Summary
Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations during shortages, call-offs, holidays, or program needs. Perform security patrols on foot, monitor access points, and respond immediately to emergency situations onsite. Work Days, Swings, and Graves shifts, including weekends and holidays with limited notice, while tracking and reporting program performance and compliance. Assist with events, observe departing personnel to protect company property, and facilitate collaboration across departments. This part-time role requires a valid BSIS guard card, clean driving record, and ability to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the position offers competitive hourly compensation of $26.00-$30.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to work Days, Swings, and Grave shifts
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Must possess a valid and current driver license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
- Must live within driving distance of San Francisco Bay Area or be willing to relocate
- Must have a current BSIS guard card
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Must have good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Must have the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member
- All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, or sign an attestation stating they can pass, prior to the scheduled start date
