Job Summary
Conduct security patrols on foot or in vehicles across designated areas, monitoring entrances, exits, and departing personnel for safety hazards, unauthorized persons, or theft. Sound alarms, notify police or fire departments, and warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and maintain required written logs while making emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Aid customers and visitors in a courteous manner. Work 30–40 hours per week with irregular, self-scheduled shifts and little to no advance notice in Des Plaines, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
