Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at your assigned site. Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry, conduct regular and random patrols around the site perimeter, and maintain a visible presence to prevent theft, vandalism, and unwanted behavior. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly while observing and reporting any security-related hazards or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Assist with emergency response activities as needed in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols. This flexible part-time role in Lancaster, PA, requires availability for all shifts and days, including coverage for special projects and call-offs.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable security experience or the equivalent
- Comfortable using computer or tablet
- Customer service experience
- Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK
- Required to cover for special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
