Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols of municipal buildings, parking facilities, and perimeters to identify suspicious activity and unauthorized access. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public while executing site-specific security procedures and emergency responses. Respond to incidents professionally, coordinating with law enforcement as needed, and document all patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate reports. Maintain assigned equipment and firearms in compliance with policies and applicable laws. This role offers a six-month fixed-shift commitment at an assigned Reno, NV site, with the option to earn additional income by claiming extra shifts through our scheduling platform. Candidates must possess at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience, an armed guard card, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license
- A valid driver's license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
