Job Summary
Conduct security patrols on foot or in vehicle while monitoring entrances, exits, and departing personnel for theft prevention. Sound alarms, warn violators of rule infractions, and investigate accidents or suspicious activities to prepare required incident reports. Aid customers and employees in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends with little to no advance notice. Requires valid driver's license, high school diploma, and background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
- Be able to travel required distances.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
