Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle while watching for irregular or unusual conditions. Sound alarms or call police/fire for fires or unauthorized persons, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry. Monitor entrances, exits, and departing personnel to protect against theft. Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; prepare reports and maintain written logs as required. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice. Valid driver's license required; background investigation and drug screen mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Open Availability
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy

Desired Qualifications
