Job Summary
Conduct hourly patrol routes, manage guest access control, and enforce plaza policies including the "no dogs" rule and fire access clearance. Perform routine foot patrols, monitor property for damage, and issue banning notices to rule violators while maintaining related files. Manage valet operations at Reston Station, control plaza traffic flow, and assist the marketing team during events. Report safety concerns, illegal parking, and unknown activities to management immediately. Maintain kiosk appearance and communicate essential information to guests as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be certified security officer by the District of Columbia
- Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field
- Valid driver's license without major violations
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends, as needed
- Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills
- Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
- Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
