Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by executing site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities. Screen individuals, packages, and personal belongings entering or leaving the location per documented policies. Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and critical situations calmly, reporting observations through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or policy concerns. This part-time role in Indianapolis, IN, supports security screening at logistics and distribution facilities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma, and possess a valid driver's license. A background investigation and drug screen are required as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Loss prevention experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
