Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities. Screen individuals, packages, and personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site policies and documented screening procedures. Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, and perimeter to help support security-related procedures and identify unusual activity or policy concerns. Work a part-time day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Loss prevention experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
