Job Summary
Manage badge access, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols at a chemical and petrochemical location to deter security incidents. Verify identification and credentials for personnel, visitors, and contractors while maintaining accurate access logs and reporting discrepancies. Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established escalation procedures. This full-time role in Sulphur, LA, includes a rotating day shift schedule from 10:30 PM to 4:30 AM. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and at least one year of law enforcement or three years of security-related experience.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
