Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeters, to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns per site procedures while providing customer service to employees and visitors. Verify visitor and contractor authorization at access points, maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols and observed conditions, and communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders. Work part-time shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays in Durham, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be subject to a background investigation
- Be subject to a drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license
