Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols of facilities and parking zones, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations while communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders. Verify visitor credentials, report suspicious activity, and prepare accurate documentation for all security-related observations. Provide customer service to employees, patients, and vendors while adhering to site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
