Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas and building perimeters to maintain a visible presence and deter security incidents. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting access control activities and carrying out site-specific emergency response procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by executing security-related procedures and clear communication with clients. Work evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, as an unarmed patrol officer. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required, with a background investigation and drug screen conducted as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
