Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns at retail mall locations. Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Assist with directing visitors and supporting a welcoming retail environment. This part-time role in Christiansburg, VA, offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and meet applicable licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
