Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned retail areas, including sales floors, stockrooms, and perimeters, to deter theft and identify unusual activity. Provide customer service to visitors and employees while assisting with loss prevention and emergency response efforts. Observe customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior or hazards, and respond to incidents following site procedures. Maintain a visible presence to support an orderly environment and communicate clearly when addressing concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
