Job Summary
Monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and verify credentials to maintain a secure environment at a technology location. Provide exceptional customer service to employees, contractors, and delivery personnel while executing site-specific security protocols. Respond to incidents and alarms in a professional manner, notify appropriate personnel, and complete required documentation. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions. Submit accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records. Maintain a day shift schedule from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
