Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, assist with visitor screening, badge verification, and directional support while adhering to site protocols and privacy expectations. Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to leadership and prepare clear, timely incident reports. Maintain a six-month commitment to an assigned site and anchor shift, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Hospital vaccinations
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds
