Job Summary
Conduct regular unarmed foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records per site procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations using established protocols. Document observations and incidents accurately for shift handoffs. Work fixed anchor shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays with a six-month commitment, supplemented by optional claim-a-shift opportunities to earn more. This part-time role offers flexibility to scale hours up to 40 weekly or reduce as needed at a telecommunications location in Saint Louis.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
