Job Summary
Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout healthcare treatment facilities, surrounding grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while providing customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and program participants. Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and document incidents, patrols, and relevant observations in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements. Maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming, orderly environment for individuals receiving services. Work fixed-anchor shifts with a six-month commitment at an assigned site in Bartow, FL, with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Requires a law enforcement or military police training graduate with at least two years of relevant experience and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
