Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions while maintaining a professional presence. Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel. Work fixed-anchor shifts at an assigned Rockport, TX hospital site with a six-month commitment, supplemented by optional claim-a-shift opportunities to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to restrain individuals as needed
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
