Job Summary
Provide customer service to guests, crew members, and visitors by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Screen passengers, visitors, baggage, packages, and other items entering designated cruise terminal or vessel access areas in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points and verify credentials, boarding documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, terminal spaces, access points, and surrounding perimeter locations. Maintain a six-month commitment to a designated site anchor shift while utilizing the Claim-A-Shift program to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings. Requires at least one year of security-related experience, a TSA-issued TWIC, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- A TSA-issued TWIC
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
