Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, visitor directions, and reporting unauthorized access concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Commit to a six-month fixed shift as an anchor shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
