Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution. Monitor entrances, galleries, public areas, and exterior spaces for security-related concerns, unauthorized access, and unusual activity. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exhibit spaces, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with site representatives, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership. This role requires a six-month fixed-shift commitment with the option to pick up additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
