Job Summary
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs. Complete a six-month fixed-shift commitment with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Requires at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
