Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation. Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
