Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency responses. Respond to incidents and critical situations, including medical emergencies, while conducting regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeters. Monitor access points and visitor activity, providing directions as needed, and document all incidents and observations accurately for leadership review. This fixed-shift commitment requires a six-month anchor assignment with the option to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings. Applicants must meet hospital vaccination requirements and be able to restrain individuals, with CPR certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements
- Be able to restrain individuals
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
