Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by executing site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location. Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel. Respond to access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters per established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and designated locations to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, communicating relevant information to site leadership and supervision. This fixed-shift commitment requires a six-month anchor assignment with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform. A background investigation and drug screen are required as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
