Job Summary
Conduct unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations while following site-specific protocols. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to leadership and emergency responders. Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant information as required. Work fixed-anchor shifts at an assigned site with a six-month commitment, supplemented by optional claim-a-shift program to earn additional hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Must meet hospital vaccine requirements
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
