Job Summary
Provide customer service and execute site-specific access-control procedures at a logistics and distribution location in Meridian, MS. Monitor entry and exit points to verify credentials, maintain access records, and direct authorized personnel. Respond to access-control incidents, alarm notifications, and critical situations by escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, drivers, and management while documenting shift activities. This part-time role offers a six-month fixed-shift commitment with an option to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
