Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity while responding to alarms, access concerns, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner. Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Provide customer service by executing security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at utility and technology-focused locations. Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain required documentation for patrols and incidents. This part-time role in Louisville, KY, offers a six-month commitment to a fixed anchor shift with the option to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license
