Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents and disturbances following established protocols while providing customer service to visitors and staff. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and prepare accurate documentation for all patrol activities and unusual conditions. Complete a six-month fixed-shift commitment at a designated site with options to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Requires an armed guard license, three years of security experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
