Job Summary
Conduct site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at a government location in Dade City, FL. Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries using approved equipment, verify identification, issue credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations while documenting observations according to site guidelines. Monitor queues, provide directions, and deter unauthorized access through consistent application of screening protocols. Maintain a six-month fixed-shift commitment with options to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Requires at least two years of law enforcement or military police experience, an armed guard license, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
