Job Summary
Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter spaces. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions; report incidents and policy concerns according to site procedures. Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
