Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols throughout retail locations including sales areas, entrances, exits, and parking lots while monitoring access points for unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, customer disputes, and suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner, adhering to site-specific policies and emergency procedures. Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related activities. Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws. Participate in industry-specific security training programs and complete a background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment. This role offers flexible part-time hours with a six-month fixed-shift commitment and opportunities to claim additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
